Over the past few years MoonRise Therapeutics remains proud and grateful to have such generous and thoughtful supporters. The following foundations have demonstrated their interest and acknowledged the need for MoonRise Therapeutics’ mental health services and well-being preventive programs.

Grant Award Amount: $7,920.00
The Vermont Children’s Trust Foundation (VCTF) promotes the well-being of children and families in Vermont by raising funds for community-based prevention programs. MoonRise received a grant in support of programming for families and young children. The funds support Family Days, and the collaboration with the Vermont Strengthening Families Network. A group of community members and organizations in the Upper Valley and surrounding regions of Vermont committed to a shared vision that families have the resources and skills to experience growth, joy, and resilience. In addition, VCTF supports MoonRise’s Circle of Security and Play Group initiatives both aimed at increasing social connection and secure attachments for children and families.
Grant Award Amount: $5,000.00
The Couch Family Foundation supports people and programs working to improve children’s health and well-being, early learning and development, family resiliency, and community vibrancy. MRT received funds for operational expenses with the focus on expanding clinical capacity in children’s programming. Due to this generous funding for December 2020 through December 2021, MRT more than doubled the clients served and Horse Connections had a parent component creating the opportunity to strengthen the caregiver-child bond. MoonRise is thankful to the Couch Family Foundation for their continuing support in 2022!
Grant Award Amount: $5,000.00
The Community Foundation is made up of hundreds of funds, foundations, and generous donors working together with a common love of Vermont. MoonRise received an award from the Hartland Fund to assist with providing quality care and enrichment for the horse herd. Horses are a critical component of MRT’s work, and their physical, mental, and spiritual care must be addressed. These funds supported proper review of nutrition and medical care, as well as provided body work that included acupressure, cranial-sacral and osteopathic treatments.
Grant Award Amount: $25,000.00
The Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation has generously supported MoonRise since its founding in 2018. Today, MRT continues to benefit from the enormous generosity of The Byrne Foundation. Presently, and most notable, is the funding to initiate and stabilize a collaborative effort with High Horses in Sharon, Vermont. With Byrne’s support, MoonRise now has two clinical mental health professionals at the High Horses facility one full day a week. This provides increased access to mental health services for our community.
Stone House Farm Fund
Grant Award Amount: $500.00
New Hampshire Charitable Foundation works with generous and visionary citizens to maximize their power for giving, support great work in our communities and lead and collaborate on high-impact initiatives. MoonRise was the fortunate recipient of a grant from the Stone House Fund that supported general operating expenses. Important to note that this family fund is directly connected to one of our previous well-loved and hard working MoonRise interns!
